Affiliate Disclosure

This site is funded by affiliate partnerships with the bookmakers it covers. Here is how that works.

How it works

Some of the links to bookmakers on this site are affiliate links. When you tap one, the bookmaker is told the visit came from us. If you then open an account and bet, the bookmaker may pay us a commission. That commission is what pays for the reviews, and it is why the site is free to read.

What it costs you

Nothing. Your odds, your welcome offer, your deposits and your withdrawals are exactly the same whether you arrive through our link or type the bookmaker’s address in yourself. The commission comes out of the bookmaker’s marketing budget, not out of your account.

What it does not change

  • The ratings. A bookmaker that pays us more does not score higher. A bookmaker that pays us nothing does not score lower. The method is on our how we rate betting apps page.
  • The order. The comparison on our homepage is in rating order, and the rating comes from the licence, the offer, the app and the ways to pay.
  • The words. Every review names at least one real flaw. No bookmaker sees a page before it goes live and none has ever been asked to approve one.
  • Who gets listed. A bookmaker without a South African provincial licence does not appear here at any price, and a licensed bookmaker with no affiliate deal still gets reviewed.

What we refuse

Nobody pays us for a review, a rating, a place on a list or a link dressed up as editorial. We do not accept a bookmaker’s own copy in place of ours. If a bookmaker asks for any of that, the answer is no.

Why we tell you

Every comparison site like this one is paid the same way. The difference between a useful one and a useless one is whether the money decides what gets written. Here it does not, and the only way you can hold us to that is if we tell you the money exists. Questions about any of it go to info@bestbettingapps.co.za, and the rest of how we work is on our editorial policy.
