Privacy Policy

We do not collect your personal information. This site has no form to fill in, nothing to sign up for and no account to open. You read a page, you tap a link to a bookmaker if you want to, and you leave. That is the whole of it, and this page exists to say so plainly rather than to hide it in ten pages of boilerplate.

What we ask you for

Nothing.

  • Your name is never requested.
  • Your email address is never requested.
  • Your cell number is never requested.
  • Your ID number is never requested.
  • Your banking details are never requested.
  • There is no account here to open and no newsletter to join.

We have nowhere to put any of that and no reason to want it. A betting app will ask you for all of it, because the law makes a bookmaker verify who you are. We are not a bookmaker.

If you email us

The only way you can give us anything is by emailing info@bestbettingapps.co.za. When you do, we have your email address and whatever you wrote, and we need both to reply to you. That is all it is used for. You are not added to a mailing list, because we do not run one. Your message is not passed on and it is not sold. Ask us to delete it and it is gone.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies on your device and does not run advertising trackers. The detail is on our cookie policy, and it is short for the same reason this page is.

When you click through to a bookmaker

This is the one place anything about your visit moves, so it is worth understanding. Some of our links are affiliate links. When you tap one, the bookmaker is told that the visit came from this site. That is how we get paid. The moment you land on their site you are their visitor, not ours, and their privacy policy applies from then on.

  • We never see your account. Not your name, your bets, your balance, your deposits or your documents.
  • Anything you type into a bookmaker’s app goes to the bookmaker. We are not in the middle of it.
  • Bookmakers collect a great deal, because FICA and their licence require it. Read their privacy policy before you open an account.

Your rights

South African privacy law is the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, known as POPIA. It gives you rights over the information a business holds about you. We hold nothing about you, so there is nothing to ask us for. If you have emailed us and want that email deleted, say so and we will do it. If you are unhappy about how anybody in South Africa has handled your information, the Information Regulator is on 010 023 5200, toll free on 0800 017 160, or at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za.

Children

You must be 18 to gamble in South Africa and this site is written for adults. We do not knowingly hold information about anybody, of any age.

Changes

If this ever changes, because we add a form or something like it, we will change this page and the date at the top before we do it. Until then, the answer to what we collect stays at nothing.

Gambling in South Africa is for adults of 18 and over. It can be addictive. Winners know when to stop. If you need to talk to somebody, the National Responsible Gambling Programme answers free on 0800 006 008, or WhatsApp HELP to 076 675 0710.
